1960 & 1962 #857 Mix `N Match, Wards Mix 'N Match 1963, Wards & Spiegel Mix 'N Match 1963-1964 - Included an 850 Barbie doll in her box with black, & white swimsuit, stand, pink booklet.  Outfits included were: Resort Set, Picnic Set, Winter Holiday, Sweater Girl and Busy Gal's red and white striped blouse.   The Wards & Spiegel sets are slightly different than shown.

1964 #858 Fashion Queen Barbie & Ken Trousseau Set -This must be one of the Holy Grail for Barbie collectors, it contains a Fashion queen Barbie in her white and gold swimsuit and scarf with three wigs, painted hair Ken doll in his original red swim trunks and striped jacket, Barbie's Bride's Dream wedding ensemble, Ken's tuxedo and accessories along with the one and only white satin bowtie exclusive to this gift set.  

Additional outfits for Barbie: Belle Dress, Movie Date, full skirt and a scoop neck playsuit and for Ken; Sports shorts and Saturday Date suit.

07/22/2005 Karen at Barbie Bazaar magazine confirmed that this was created by an Italian artist sometime in the 1990's, and sold in a fraudulent auction on ebay.  They did everything to make it look authentic using the Mattel gold stickers on both the cover & inside, would have been a great companion piece to Carol Spencer's - Ken as the Mad Hatter prototype (which is authentic).

Just threw this in to let you know, that you always need to be a bit careful to research and find reference materials to authenticate it is truly a Mattel product.  This was very nice, sold for about $800 in an online auction.  That's not so nice, it was fraud!

Set has great graphics on the cover, the gold Mattel sticker is on the lower left & inside the box too; early Skipper with light red hair (possibly a re-root) dressed in a white apron, blue dress, long white stockings with black mary jane shoes, faux fur white rabbit two piece suit for Ricky to wear and eyeglasses on nose, felt red jacket, brown vest with plaid lining, two gold bead buttons on front, slacks, bowtie, gold tone pocket watch, (time looks to be a little after 5pm and a potion bottle for growing tall, I think.  This is fab - but it's not Mattel, it's by a artist OOAK.
