The Karl Hartmann doll company was located in Stockheim, upper Franconia, Germany from 1911-1926. 

They made lovely bisque socket head Dolly faced child dolls on composition jointed bodies, sized 14-30" tall, wigged, feathered brows, real upper eyelashes or painted eyelashes, light and delicate painted lower lashes, glass eyes, open mouth with teeth.  Karl Hartmann dolls are of very good quality.
