1964-65, This Mary Poppins doll was based on Julie Andrews from the Disney movie in which she won an Academy Award in 1964. She is made of jointed vinyl and plastic has black rooted hair and blue painted side-glancing eyes, Mark on back of head: "H".  12" tall and was made in the USA. 

She is wearing her "working" nanny dress of blue and white stripes, white apron with her name, black stockings and shoes. Additionally she has a sensible blue cotton coat, hat and white/purple dress, she carries her carpet bag and her fabric umbrella . . . and for partying ., white long dress with red bodice, lacy hat flower trimmed, shoes, gloves, sheer stockings and her famous ruler . . . for measuring up!  

No. 928, This is the Horsman, Mary Poppins from 1973, it is the same as the 1964 version except the umbrella is now made of cardboard.  All the same accessories as the above doll except as noted and the same markings.

1966 Mary Poppins (11 1/2" tall) also came as a set with characters; Jane Banks (Karen Dotrice) and Michael Banks (Matthew Garber), each were 8 1/4" tall, vinyl jointed bodies, blond rooted hair, painted blue eyes. Mary is the same doll as in 1964.

Mary was also produced as a 16", 27 1/2" and 36"  (walker) doll, these dolls have chubbier bodies more child-like than adult.
