1953 Muffie doll face, 8" |

The
Nancy Ann Storybook Doll Company NASB (1936-1971), was founded by Nancy Ann Abbott in San Francisco, CA
USA, they first made small bisque dolls, later they made hard plastic
dolls, such as Muffie.
Muffie Doll Characteristics -
she is
all hard plastic with a jointed body at the neck, shoulders and hips and
walkers also have bent knees; sleep eyes,
her dynel wig came in various colors and styles and her feet have detailed toes.
Muffie's arms have metal loops for stringing, instead of plastic arm hooks, her
hands have separate fingers.

1953 Muffie, 8" tall, strung doll, SLW = straight leg
walker, no eyebrows, all hard plastic with jointed
body, sleep eyes with real lashes, (auburn) dynel wig with a
side part and styled in a flip, 603-1 outfit blue and
white striped and polka dot dress, from Muffie's Favorite
Fashion series. She has blue sleep eyes.
